Tom Foxon, group marketing and PR director, comments: “The acquisition of these magazines opens up an incredibly popular and lucrative market for us. In addition, we are very excited about adding Wargaming to our Exhibition, as this is something which is extremely popular not only nationally, but globally.”

subscribe-banner2The Regal Group is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Milton Keynes with great news of expansion in key areas of the business.

The Group is pleased to announce that it has set up a new publishing arm, Guideline Specialist Publications (GSP); which will be managing two newly acquired magazines, ‘Practical Reptile Keeping’ and ‘Small Furry Pets’. These well-established publications, will continue under the superb editorship of David Alderton, who is a well- respected and knowledgeable specialist on the topics of pets and natural history. Guideline Specialist Publications will be working to increase the circulation further still; not only through the existing outlets of WH Smith and Pets at Home stores, but also through GSP Direct and online digital editions.

Additionally, the Toy Soldier Collector Show, which is run under the auspices of Guideline Publications, is moving to a new home from December 2017 – Haverstock School in Camden, London. This modern building will enable the Exhibition, which is already the largest show in Europe, to not only expand further, but also to add Wargaming as a feature.

Tom Foxon, Group Marketing & PR Director, said: “The acquisition of these magazines opens up an incredibly popular and lucrative market for us. In addition, we are very excited about adding Wargaming to our Exhibition, as this is something which is extremely popular not only nationally, but globally.”

Lastly, but by no means least, Regal Litho, the commercial print arm of the Group, is delighted to announce that, thanks to a successful 2016, they have been able to invest in a Heidelberg 5 Colour CD74-5LX offset press. The new press, which weighs in excess of an incredible 28000kg (the equivalent of four adult elephants), took five days to install and then a further five days of staff training. But it was all worth it, as the machine is now up and running on site; enabling Regal to produce faster, top quality print at even more competitive prices.

Alan Corkhill, Managing Director of Regal Group, said: “The acquisition of this machine is a major investment for the Regal Group, but one which I believe is vital to our continued success. This modern printing technology will allow Regal to provide a more efficient and flexible service to its customers, both old and new, without skimping on quality. I am also very pleased to be bringing more and diverse business to not only the Group, but also Milton Keynes in its 50th Anniversary year.”
